Fun Page

At J. C. Signs & Scenes we take every commission seriously regardless of size, cost or complexity; our aim is to develop our individual and collective skills and continue doing so.

We do not however take ourselves seriously as work should be fun. Mark, Dan and myself do not look forwards to Fridays or dread Monday. There are a few signs around the studio and inn that indicate our humour.

These are the full sized images. We apologise that the image quality varies occasionally but this is due to the quality of the photographs, not of the work itself.

	When my wife and I purchased the inn, we found this Victorian roller in the overgrown garden so it seemed appropriate to park it in the car park with the following sign: "The old man has finally achieved his life long ambition, he always wanted his own 'roller' in the car park."
	We have many overseas visitors looking for recommended establishments, ours is highly recommended by the J.C.I.T.B. (John's Cross Inn Tourist Board).
	The origin of this one is that whenever Sandie my wife disagrees with me her final words tend to be "you're boring anyway", so I thought I would go public and let the world know.
	We generally operate seven days a week, but cannot always be in the studio. This sign directs visitors to the inn and is unfortunately very accurate in its description.
